The application "Consulta de notas SIGMA", developed by SIGMA Gestión Universitaria, responsible of creating and maintaining software in 10 Spanish universities, allows students to view their academic file from Android devices conveniently and quickly.
The students of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) may consult, as of today, their transcripts on mobile devices with Android operating system.
SIGMA Gestión Universitaria has developed this application so that students can access data from all academic subjects in which they are registered through a user login screen. The apps is free for students and it’s available in the Android market.
Following this line of improvement in academic management information, in a second phase will add consulting notes from mobile devices with IOS operating system (iPad and iPhone).
The UAB in collaboration with SIGMA, is undergoing a process of technological change to modernize their administrative processes. The Students access information both from the virtual campus as now by mobile, are key elements in its commitment to technological modernization.
