On 15th December 2009 the first meeting of the Working Committee on the Electronic Administration of SIGMA AIE took place at the Public University of Navarre.

The aim of the Committee was to present the strategic adaptation of the Electronic Administration proposed by SIGMA AIE, initially centred on the VEGA suite (ATLAS, ORION y SIGMA) to the universities. The progress made during 2009 was also described along with the main lines of work and milestones to be achieved during 2010, a year in which the consolidation of Electronic Administration for SIGMA applications should be achieved.

The Committee closed the meeting with a proposal of dates for forthcoming working meetings to discuss Electronic Administration. Two lines of work were defined: the first is a technical line in which it was decided to include a section dedicated to Electronic Administration on the agenda of the next meeting of the Committee of Specialists which will take place in February 2010 at the University of Cordoba, and the next practical Working Committee meeting aimed at university users, the date and place of which remain to be decided, but the intention is to hold this meeting at the end of the first terms in 2010.
